Caroline Pleasant works as an actor in the Metropolitan Washington Baltimore area. Her most recent stage work was a year as a company member of Synergy in Action Playback Theater in Silver Spring, MD. Prior stage credits include a tour of DC Schools, Libraries, Boys & Girls Club, and nursing facilities, with the Young Playwrights Theater's Woodlawn Project; Waiting to be Invited (Ms. Odessa) with The Serenity Players; Nuts (The Judge) with Bowie Community Theater; The Gospel at Colonus (The Preacher) with Theater Alliance; Flyin' West (Miss Leah), and The Trial of One Short-Sighted Black Woman vs. Mammy Louise and Safreeta Mae (Mammy Louise), both with The Metropolitan Ebony Theater. Her film credits include: Nocturnal Agony (Lillie); Unraveled (Lynda); Lift (Sugar); Heaven Burns (Missy); Juju: The Witchdoctor Chronicles (Voodoo High Priestess); Exodus 20:13 (Mrs. David), and Too Saved (Deaconess Ford). Television credits include an episode of VEEP set to premiere on HBO in April, 2012, The Wire (Mrs. Broadus), and Countdown to Ground Zero (Josephine Harris). Caroline also has credits with industrials and training videos. She received her Associate of Arts Degree in Theatre from Prince Georges Community College; she studied at The Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory, and The Theatre Lab. She is a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG). She is currently seeking a bachelor's degree in Communications and Psychology at UMUC.
